Thanks.. yes. I did check the printing. I made that mistake once before ! I took out the smallest solid ring and resewed those two seams with a scanter seam and was able to get it close enough to work. Thanks for the suggestions.
@Cathy Calloway did you check the 1" control box when you printed it? Also, did you print from your regular computer, and not some other device? If it is not printed from a regular computer, and the printer settings changed to print to "actual size", then the computer automatically resizes it. Also, are you using a 1/4" foot? that can make a difference too. You might be able to fudge it by trimming the L-unit a bit larger.
I got this block all pieced, and found that the pieced portion of my block was too small to trim correctly to the 1/4 inch seam in the background. I’m 3/8 to 1/4 inch off on both directions. Yikes! Did anyone else have this problem?? I guess my curve sewing must have been slightly off and it added up over all those seams. My points are good tho. Now not sure where to make the adjustment to try to get it back to size.
My block also measures small BUT my drunkards path feather block was also small. I just laid them on top of one another and I can make them match up pretty perfectly. I am moving forward; my points look nice too. I’m pretty particular about my seam allowance and I have measured everything many, many times so I’m not sure why everything is small; maybe it’s the curves. put your two completed blocks in that row beside each other and just see if the difference can’t be compensated for (says the first tim curves stitcher).

Thanks.ithink I’ll let it sit overnight & think about it. I could resew the solid rings with a smaller seam and try & get it to size. But not today!
